1 World Under a Groove’ is a Documentary that was shot during the international Youth Exchange ‘Hip Hop For Euromed’ in Rome (Italy). The goal of the documentary is to discover the evolution of Hip Hop culture between youngsters coming from five nations of the Euro-Mediterranean area, contextualizing common developments and diversities as part of intercultural dialog through the artistic expressions of the Hip Hop culture.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER

THE AUTHORS Giulia Giorgi is a polyhedric figure active in the Italian independent movie industry, graduated in Oriental Studies at the University of Rome La Sapienza. Member of Wild Up B-girl Crew, she has always been active into the hip hop community. She founded the movie production Baburka Production, an independent production based in Rome that covers all the production steps with a very international flavor on his works, and a special eye on Middle East and South of the World.

Matteo De Angelis is a D.o.p from the Norcia region of Italy. Founder of the 2MonTheRocks movie production and member of A.I.C. (Italian Association of Cinematography). He has worked in many TV productions, among which we remember “Voyager”, for which he has shot various documentaries and “Revolution the Series”, for which he has worked as D.o.p. His passion for the documentaries has allowed him to travel all around the world, and to become a very well recognized professional freelancer.
