ABOUT THE FILMMAKERS
Jamil Hannibal Wilson is an American actor, director, writer and producer as well as a rapper and songwriter under the stage name, Jahan Nostra. Jamil has written, co-directed and produced several music videos, including “Welcome Home (The Return)” (2015: Shane Films), “Living Your Life” (2015: Ken Keeler, Jr.), “Embrace The Rain” (2017: Shane Films), and his current project “El Chapo” (2019: Henry Gelperin). Although Jamil has primarily worked on music videos throughout his career, he plans to leverage his experience for his next projects, producing a TV/Web Series and a documentary film.
Henry Gelperin, a student at Ithaca College, is majoring in Cinema & Photography with a concentration in Cinema Production. For the past 2 years, Henry has been freelancing creating music videos for artists. He has also done narrative work and has been on several film sets, working on short films. He hopes to continue creating music videos for artists and also expand his focus to commercial projects. When he graduates from film school, Henry hopes to pursue a career as an editor for narrative or documentary films.
