A man experiencing a mental breakdown goes on an adventure helping a donut find it’s hole and in that journey he finds out what’s missing in himself.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER
Jason Pierre is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker and writer. He was born to first-generation Jamaican immigrants and raised in the South Bronx. He obtained a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College and shortly after, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in writing. He finished his first short film David at Daytime in 2013 and his second short film Existential Donut in 2018 which has played at over 10 festivals. He is currently in pre-production for his new short film The Stew, which explores family traditions through food. He currently works as a Production Supervisor for BuzzFeed Motion Pictures.
