Lin, a teenage rap fanatic fresh off the boat from China, finds himself enrolled in an inner-city American high school. After he is bullied for barely speaking English, Lin battles for acceptance by taking on the reining rap champ.

Bao Chunyu is from Shanghai, China. He is known by direct award-winning short film ‘Fish Out of Water.” Previous films Bao has directed has been invited to participate in numerous international film festivals – including Hawaii International Film Festival, 48 Independent Film Festival, and Hong Kong Global Film Festival. As a lifelong Hip Hop fan, Bao has directed several Hip Hop music videos in China that have gone viral.
