ABOUT THE FILMMAKER
Raised as a native New Yorker, Sultan Ali always had a love for media arts. His passion for entertainment allowed him to be one of the three chosen finalist for the “NAACP & Ford Cinematic Shorts Competition” in San Antonio, Texas. In spring 2019, he was a featured panelist for NATPE’s “Living in Color” where he spoke on his work and aspirations with other young creatives of color. Aside from his achievements, he also had the opportunity to work and volunteer for highly reputable companies, such as: Viacom Inc., Maysles Documentary Center, New York State Governor’s Film Office, United Talent Agency, and The Producers Guild of America East. He received his Bachelor’s in Film Production at Brooklyn College and back in 2014, he started a production company called “Tabula Pictures”. A simple mission to create content that is not only immensely entertaining but strongly innovative.
