ABOUT THE FILMMAKER

 

Jeneen Robinson is a writer, actress, director and producer.   She wrote and directed ER:  The Resurrection Stage Play through her company Saponi Star Productions which received rave reviews; this marked her Hollywood directorial debut.  Since making the great migration to Hollywood, she is featured in a host of projects.  She’s appeared in commercials and on TV including My Crazy Ex and Cry Wolfe.  Her theatre credits include the Wicked Witch of the Westside in ‘Da Hip-Hop Wizzard of Oz where she won the award for Best Actress.   Miss Robinson’s movie titles are Forgiveness with Richard T. Jones, Echo Dr. and Almost Gangsta with Fredro Star.  She also hosted and executive produced the NAACP ACT-SO Awards.  Miss Robinson holds a degree from James Madison University in International Affairs and French and an M.A. in French Linguistics from Howard University.  She lives in Los Angeles.
