ABOUT THE FILMMAKER

 

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Starr received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications and Marketing at American International College. Starr moved to New York City shortly after to pursue a career in media and entertainment, landing her first gig at BET Networks. Over the years as an independent creative she has worked with BBC America, BMW, NBC, Warner Bros. Entertainment, and Karmaloop. Starr’s creative sensibilities move between, short and long form digital content, short films, music videos, commercials, and comedic sketches. Currently, Starr is a Senior Producer at Bleacher Report. She resides in New York City.
