ABOUT THE FILMMAKER

Sharna (Ms. J) Jenkins is a Harlem born writer, director and producer. Ms. J is a graduate of LaGuardia High School of the Performing arts in New York City’s Lincoln Center. Her entire childhood has been surrounded by the arts, beginning with grade school, moving on to LaGuardia High School studying opera, jazz, Musical Theater and theater writing. Ms. J starting her script writing directly after High School where she went on to study the Robert McKee story structure along with other script writing techniques. Sharna has worked with teens and adults in live theater since 2000, she has several theatrical plays under her belt, Daddy’s Girl, Like me Love meLove you, just to name a few. Her book of poetry Content Style & Expression is just another example of her amazing talent. Ms. J, currently has a screenplay Desperate Decision that she is waiting to unleash on the world, her current television series, Sisters Keeper is preparing to make a dramatic, creative debut.
