ABOUT THE FILMMAKER

 

Alejandra Maguiña was born in Quito, Ecuador from an Ecuadorian mother and a Peruvian father. She lived part of her live in Haiti, where she attended an international school that led her to explore and experience cultural diversity. She showed an affinity for various types of audiovisual and performance art forms. Leaning into the film of animation at the age of 8 and engaging in dance and Hip-Hop culture at the age of 12
