ABOUT THE FILMMAKER
William Alexander Runnels is originally from Dallas, Texas and attended the prestigious Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing & Visual Arts where he majored in Theatre. He obtained a BFA in Acting from CW Post/Long Island University where he had the pleasure of performing in countless plays and directed productions of Antigone and The Balcony. In 2009 he received a full scholarship to attend New York Stage & Film’s Powerhouse Theater at Vassar College as an acting apprentice. After Jungle Wild Productions successfully raised over $30,000 via Kickstarter, he directed and edited Black Actress and Beyond Complicated webisodes. His award winning web series Young N’ Reckless with co-creator Kajuana Shuford has nearly 1 Million views on YouTube. Other credits include Working Out the Kinks and Film Lab Presents… on NYC Life Channel 25.
