ABOUT THE FILMMAKER
Moe N. Reed, CSU Northridge alum, earned a degree in Screenwriting and received the A. Polonsky Screenwriting Award, which recognizes creative work with themes of social consciousness. Continuing with her passion of screenwriting, she was selected as a Guy Hanks and Marvin Miller screenwriting fellow. As a feature writer, her script, “Love Around The Corner, ” was selected to participate in the WGAw’s, Committee of Black Writers, stage reading event in 2015. Moe also obtained a certificate as a PromaxBDA Promo Fellow, which focused on writing, producing, and editing short form content. Currently, Moe is in post production with a coming-of-age web series titled, “The Life of Bern,” which follows a former selective mute as he pursues a career in hip hop.
